This policy explains what personal data Aarambh ("we", "us") collects when you visit aarambhlive.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
01Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive:
- your name and email address, or your phone number if you message us on WhatsApp
- the type of project you're interested in
- your message, and anything else you choose to share with us
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time. These logs are used to keep the website secure and running.
Visitor analytics. We use Amazon CloudWatch RUM to understand how the website is used and to fix problems. It records the pages you view, how quickly they load, any errors, and your browser, device type and approximate location (country), derived from your IP address. It does not use cookies. To send these measurements, it keeps a random anonymous ID and short-lived access keys in your browser's local storage; you can clear them at any time in your browser settings. We do not use analytics to identify you.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
02How we use your information
We use the information you send us only to:
- reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project with you
- prepare proposals, estimates and project communication you've asked for
- keep this website secure and prevent spam or abuse
- understand which pages are useful and fix errors or slow pages
- meet our legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list without your consent.
04How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages for as long as we need them to respond to you, and for up to two years after our last contact. After that we delete them. If you become a client, we keep project records for as long as our agreement and the law require. Server logs are kept according to our hosting provider's standard schedule, and visitor analytics are kept for 30 days.
05Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
- correct or update your information
- delete your information
- withdraw any consent you've given

06Security
This website uses HTTPS to encrypt data between your browser and our servers, and only the people who need your information to reply to you can access it. No online service can be completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
07Children
This website is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
08Our apps and other websites
This policy covers only this website. Our apps, such as FinGenie and Chowk, have their own privacy policies, which you can find inside each app and on its store listing. This website may link to other websites, such as app stores. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.
09Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on this page.
